Photosynthesis is the process, utilized by plants and other photosynthetic organisms, in which sunlight and CO2 (carbon dioxide) are used to synthesize glucose and oxygen, which can then be used by the mitochondria to produce ATP.

In game, photosynthesis requires available sunlight which is then used by the chloroplast to produce 1 Glucose, which can then be used by the mitochondria to produce ATP.
To add a chloroplast in the editor, and in turn, be able to photosynthesize, the player must first find and collect a green bubble by swimming through the environment.
